RMA: FREE training
The Resource Management Act (RMA) is New Zealand’s main legislation that sets out how we should manage our environment and natural resources (such as air, soil, fresh water and coastal marine areas). It’s based on sustainable management principles, requiring consideration of current and future effects of activities on the environment now and in the future when making resource management decisions. Northland Regional Council would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in free training with everything you need to know about the RMA. Build your capacity, knowledge, and confidence on this important kaupapa. Both the RMA101 training and the Making Good Decisions (MGD) foundation course, will guide you through the ethical, legal and practical requirements of decision making under Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA).
